After getting our marketing degrees from the University of Maryland (go Terps!), we moved back to Charm City and entered the 9-5 world. We both got jobs in graphic design but still found ourselves daydreaming about creating our own stationery and custom goodies. That kicked into high gear after we both got engaged. As brides planning our own weddings and MOH's in each other's, we spent soooo many hours scrolling through Pinterest trying to find the perfect invitations, bach party favors, bridal shower details, you name it. We could never quite find exactly what we wanted, and so we eventually just decided to design our own.

Our amazing family, friends, co-workers, & sorority sisters (shoutout to Kappa Delta!) let us continue our test run on their weddings and parties. In fall 2015, we were ready to expand to a wider audience, so we launched our Etsy shop and this website. One year later, we both took the leap of quitting our day jobs and devoted ourselves to Dunkirk Designs full-time. Since then, we've had the pleasure of working with thousands of wonderful clients all over the world, collaborated with an array of wonderful vendors, and been featured by some amazing publications (below).
